Privacy policy

Last updated: July 2026

Flash Computer Services ("we", "us") respects your privacy and handles personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This policy explains what we collect, why, and how it's protected.

What we collect

When you contact us or use our services we may collect your name, business name, phone number, email address, and details about your technology environment that are necessary to provide support (such as device information, account configurations and issue descriptions).

How we use it

We use your information to respond to enquiries, deliver and improve our services, send service communications (like appointment confirmations and invoices), and meet our legal obligations. We do not sell personal information, and we don't add you to marketing lists without your consent.

Access to your systems

Providing IT support sometimes requires access to your devices, accounts or data. We access only what's needed for the job at hand, treat everything we see as confidential, and use secure, audited tools for any remote access.

Third parties

Limited information may be processed by trusted third parties that help us operate — such as website hosting, email delivery and appointment scheduling providers — under their own privacy safeguards. We share information with vendors (for example, warranty claims with a hardware manufacturer) only as needed to deliver the service you've asked for.

Security & retention

We protect personal information with the same controls we recommend to clients — encryption, multi-factor authentication and least-privilege access — and retain it only as long as needed for service and legal purposes.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time. Contact us at anthony@flashcs.com.au or 0455 999 991 and we'll respond promptly. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
