The network under the till

Most POS failures are network failures. The terminal is fine; the connection under it isn’t. Sharing the guest Wi-Fi with customers, running payment traffic over a consumer router, or hanging a terminal off a Wi-Fi extender at the back of a shop are all reliable ways to lose sales during a rush.

Retail, café and restaurant setups

The requirements differ. Retail generally needs barcode scanning, stock integration and a cash drawer. Hospitality needs table mapping, kitchen or bar printers that don’t drop off mid-service, and often handheld ordering. Both need EFTPOS that talks to the POS rather than being keyed in twice.

Which POS systems do you work with?

Most major platforms — Square, Shopify POS, Lightspeed and others. The POS vendor supports their software; we make sure the hardware, network and internet underneath it never let you down, and we coordinate with the vendor when issues cross over.

Can you set up a brand-new shop or café from scratch?

Yes — that's the ideal scenario. We handle cabling, Wi-Fi, internet, the POS counter and back-office computers as one job, usually alongside your fit-out.

What about EFTPOS terminals?

EFTPOS units come from your bank or payment provider, but they depend on your network — we set up that side and troubleshoot connection issues so "EFTPOS is down" stops being a mystery.
