Computer Cleaning & Maintenance
Physical dust-outs and software tune-ups that stop overheating, fix slowdowns and extend the life of your computer.
- Internal dust-out stops overheating
- Software tune-up fixes slowdowns
- Done on-site at your home
Internal clean
Dust choking the fans and heatsinks is safely cleaned out — the number one cause of overheating, loud fans and sudden shutdowns.
Software declutter
Startup programs, bloatware and junk that accumulate over years are cleared out, cutting boot times and freeing up speed.
Health check
We check the hard drive, battery and cooling for early signs of failure — catching a dying drive before it takes your photos with it.
Upgrade advice
Sometimes $150 of parts beats $1,500 of new computer. If an SSD or extra memory would transform your machine, we'll say so.
Computers slow down for two reasons: dust and clutter. Dust builds up inside and chokes the cooling until the machine overheats, throttles and eventually shuts down mid-task. Clutter builds up in the software — startup programs, leftover apps, updates gone stale — until booting up feels like a coffee break.
Our on-site cleaning service tackles both. We open the machine up and safely clean out fans and heatsinks, then tune the software side so the computer starts fast and stays responsive. While we’re in there, a quick health check on the drive and battery often catches failures before they become disasters.
It’s the cheapest way to add years to a computer’s life — and we do it at your home, anywhere in South West Sydney.
Good to know
Common questions
My computer gets hot and the fan is loud. Is that serious?
It's the classic sign of internal dust buildup — and yes, left alone it shortens the computer's life and can cause sudden shutdowns. An internal clean usually fixes it in one visit.
How often should a computer be cleaned?
For most homes, a physical clean every couple of years is plenty — more often for dusty rooms or pet-friendly households. Software tune-ups tend to be worthwhile yearly.
Is it worth tuning up an old computer instead of replacing it?
Often, yes. A clean plus an SSD upgrade can make a five-year-old computer feel new for a fraction of replacement cost. If it's genuinely past saving, we'll tell you before you spend money on it.
