Managed IT Services

Your whole IT environment — monitored, patched, secured and supported for a flat monthly fee, by a team based in Gregory Hills.

  • Flat monthly fee, no surprise invoices
  • Proactive monitoring and patching
  • Local engineers, on-site same day

Proactive monitoring

We watch your servers, computers and network around the clock and fix most issues before anyone at your office notices them.

Unlimited helpdesk

Your team calls or emails us directly and reaches an engineer who knows your setup — no ticket queues offshore, no hold music.

Patching & updates

Windows, Microsoft 365 and third-party updates are tested and rolled out on a schedule, so security holes get closed without breaking your tools.

Backup & recovery

Automated, verified backups of your files, emails and systems — with a documented recovery plan we actually test.

Vendor management

Internet dropouts, printer contracts, software renewals — we deal with your other IT vendors so you never sit on hold with an ISP again.

Quarterly IT roadmap

A regular review of what's working, what's ageing and what's next, so IT spend is planned instead of a surprise.

Most small businesses in South West Sydney handle IT the same way: nothing happens until something breaks, then everything stops while someone googles a fix or waits for a technician. Managed IT flips that around — we take responsibility for keeping your systems running so problems get caught early, and your team gets a direct line to real support when they need it.

Flash Computer Services runs managed IT for businesses across Gregory Hills, the Macarthur region and greater South West Sydney. Because we’re local, “on-site support” means an engineer at your office — not a courier bag and a week of waiting.

What’s actually included in a managed IT plan

A managed plan is not a support phone number you call when things go wrong. It’s a standing arrangement where we own the health of your environment. In practice that means monitoring agents on every machine, a patching schedule that gets tested before it reaches your staff, managed cyber security layered across email and endpoints, verified backups, and a helpdesk your team can reach directly.

It also means the boring administrative work disappears. Licence renewals, ISP faults, printer contracts, warranty claims — we handle the vendors so your office manager isn’t sitting on hold with an internet provider for forty minutes.

One flat monthly fee covers all of it. You’ll know exactly what IT costs this month, next month and next quarter, and you’ll have one accountable party for the whole environment rather than four suppliers pointing at each other. Our managed IT plans set out what each tier covers.

Managed IT vs break-fix: the real difference

Break-fix looks cheaper until you count the downtime. You only pay when something goes wrong — but your provider only earns when something goes wrong, which is a strange set of incentives to build a business on. Every hour a server is down, every morning nobody can print, every week a failing backup goes unnoticed: none of that shows up on an invoice, but all of it costs you.

Managed IT inverts the incentive. We’re paid a flat fee whether or not your systems misbehave, so preventing problems is in our interest as much as yours. Most businesses that switch find the first two months are busy — there’s a backlog of deferred maintenance to clear — and then things go quiet. Quiet is the product.

How fast we get on site

We’re based at Gregory Hills, off Rodeo Road. Narellan, Smeaton Grange, Oran Park and Camden are ten to fifteen minutes away; Campbelltown, Leppington and Ingleburn are typically under twenty-five; Liverpool and Minto are comfortably inside the same morning.

Most issues never need a visit — remote access resolves them in minutes. But when something genuinely needs hands on hardware, a network fault, a failed switch, a new starter’s desk, someone drives over. That’s the part a national helpdesk can’t replicate, and it’s the main reason businesses in this region choose a local provider.

Who managed IT suits

Most of our managed clients have between three and fifty staff. The pattern is consistent: the business grew, IT quietly became someone’s unofficial second job, and that person is now the bottleneck for everything from onboarding a new starter to chasing the internet provider.

It suits you if downtime has a real cost, if you’re carrying compliance or client-data obligations, if staff numbers are moving, or if you’re currently relying on one contractor who is unreachable on holidays. It’s a poor fit if you have two laptops and no server — ad-hoc business IT support is the better value there, and we’ll say so rather than sell you a plan you don’t need.

Getting started

The first step is a free IT audit: we walk your site, document what’s there, and tell you plainly what’s healthy, what’s ageing and what’s an actual risk. You get that assessment whether or not you sign anything.

If you go ahead, onboarding runs about two weeks. We deploy monitoring and security tooling, resolve whatever the audit flagged as urgent, document the environment properly, and handle the handover with your existing provider directly. There’s no downtime for your team — most staff notice only that IT problems start getting fixed faster.

Good to know

Common questions

What does managed IT actually include?

Everything day-to-day — helpdesk for your staff, monitoring and maintenance of your computers and network, security management, backups, and on-site visits when hands-on work is needed. Plans differ mainly in how much is unlimited; see our plans page or book a call for a walkthrough.

We already have an IT provider. How hard is it to switch?

Easier than you'd expect — it's a process we run often. We handle the handover directly with your current provider, document everything as we go, and there's no downtime for your team. Most switches are complete within two weeks.

Do you lock us into a long contract?

No. Our managed plans run month to month. We'd rather keep your business by being good at the job than by holding a contract over you.

How big does a business need to be for managed IT?

Most of our clients have between 3 and 50 staff. If you have a handful of computers and IT problems cost you real time, a managed plan usually pays for itself quickly.
